This is a very nice, low-mileage 1998 Toyota 4-Runner we purchased to combine with our 1999 4-Runner that had high mileage. The cash for clunkers came along and we ended up selling our 200,000+ for way more than it was worth. Now, we have this very nice 1998 4-Runner with thousands in valuable parts and no patient vehicle for the donor to give to. If you look for, for example, an engine with this type of mileage you would pay upwards of $2000.00. Similarly, a 4-wheel drive-OD transmission with this low of mileage with a transfer case would easily be $1500.00 Before this vehicle was flipped on it’s top causing minor roof and side damage it had many new parts installed for which we have all receipts. Some of the new parts, for example, are: Ø 4 new BF GoodWrench all terrain radial tires were just installed on immaculate condition aluminum rims at a cost of $800.00. Ø A brand new AVS braking system was installed. Ø All new brakes. Ø Timing belt with all other external belts and new water pump and timing cover replaced at 60,000. Additionally, this vehicle is equipped with power doors and locks, and has a CD player with 3-disc changer. Also, has a beautiful interior with wood grain and no stains or rips. Vehicle has 82,000 original miles and has always been stored in doors, even after the accident. The underside of this vehicle has no rust. We had a repair estimate to fix this vehicle for $3000.00 but as we sold our other 4-Runner and bought a new car we no longer need this vehicle. A vehicle with similar mileage and these options sell for $7000-9000.
