1969 Cadillac Deville convertible. The car had been sitting under a carport since it was parked in 2006. The previous owner told me the car ran and drove good when it was parked. Over the winter the carport collapsed on the car under the weight of lots of snow. The collapse put dents in the passenger side front fender and rear quarter panel. It also bent the passenger side convertible top side rail and broke both passenger side glasses out of the car. I have new glass that comes with the car but it needs installed. The top works good but it will not latch to the windshield post due to being bent. The body is in really good shape. The only rust is on the passenger side quarter panel in front of the tire. The passenger side fender skirt is bent and won’t fit back onto the car. It looks like the tire blew and twisted it. The interior is pretty nice and the tires look almost new. The car is complete with 104K miles on it. It has been converted to an HEI distributor and new style alternator. I have a clear title in my name for the car. I purchased the car last week with the intention of a quick fix of the glass and top and having a cool convertible to cruise this summer. I tried to get the car started last weekend with no luck. The engine turns over freely. But after doing some checking I removed the valve covers and none of the valve train moves when the engine is cranked. (Broken timing chain?) It has a 472 engine in it. This is more work than I want to put into this car. I have too many other projects and I rather put the effort and money into something else. The car has power windows and seats that work. Power steering, power brakes, power top and A/C with climate control that I don’t know about because it won’t start. On Apr-18-10 at 07:33:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The car has a new coil and pickup in the distriubtor. It does not have a battery. I used the one from my truck when working on it. The floor boards and frame are solid. I have pics. email me and I'll send them if interested. The driver door has a small rust bubble in the front bottom corner. The passanger door also has rust bubbles in bottom front corner.
