Red with a black interior and black convertible top. This rare and unique automobile is in spectacular condition and is a 1 owner car with only 29k original miles. The Pininfarina designed exterior is in excellent solid condition, and the interior is like new. The underside as well as both the trunk and engine compartments are spectacular as well. A rare vehicle with only 2500 made for ’91, features of the Allante include an all digital center console, digital gauge cluster, Delco/Bose Symphony Sound system with in dash CD player, power Recaro seats, power windows, automatic trunk, and more. The Allante also features a powerful 4.5L V8 and 4-speed automatic transmission. Truly a unique flagship Cadillac. The Allante was introduced in 1987 to restore Cadillac’s position in the market as a top of the line luxury marquee. Directly competing with luxury brands from overseas, Cadillac commissioned Pininfarina, the Italian design house, to design and build the body. Shipped from Italy in specially outfitted 747s, the body was then placed on the remainder of the vehicle, built in the US. The most expensive Cadillac at the time, very few were produced in comparison to the brands other models. A large of assortment of equipment which was optional on other Cadillacs was standard on the Allante, making it the marque’s flagship automobile. The Allante is a unique automobile. Stepping in to it reveals a large all digital center console that is angled ergonomically toward the driver. Mechanical data and fuel mileage can be selected on the information computer. Climate control is similarly digitally controlled. The sound system even includes a CD player, something which had only just begun to become popular a few years earlier. Shipping: Winner of this auction is solely responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. We will be happy to provide references to companies that we have had success with.
