Vehicle Detail

I can be reached at (619) 461-0000. What a great car to restore! This is a very rare 1964 Chrysler 300 Convertible that would make an outstanding project for any Mopar lover. With only 1,401 produced in 64 it is difficult to find any of these cars, especially one that has not already been restored and going for big money. Classic, timeless styling that you can build or restore any way you like. It is a complete Southern California car that still has the black and yellow license plates. It is not a 300K. It is a non-letter series car. The K cars came standard with the 413 c.i. engines which could even be ordered with dual quad crossram set-ups. This car has the 383 c.i. big block Chrysler, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power top, bucket seats, center console with floor shifter, reclining passenger seat, and in-dash performance indicator gauge. It has a pretty solid body. It is straight down the sides with the exception of the driver's side front fender. The paint is the TT code Roman Red Poly. I do not think it has ever been in any major accidents. The doors, hood, and trunk fit nicely. It has some minor rust in the outer rockers on the passenger side. The front floorboards, frame, and trunk are very solid. The rear floorboards need to be replaced. All the trim appears to be there. The interior obviously needs a complete restoration. It does appear to be very complete with the exception of the front door panels that were replaced with Tijuana specials. The rear panels are the originals. The dash, gauges, factory steering wheel, and even the AM radio are original. The big mouth grills on these cars are impossible to miss! I also have two extra grills that are included along with extra trim, another set of tail lights, headlight rings, etc. The rear bumper is included but not installed. The car was running, but the previous owner began to disassemble the engine to pull it out. The intake, air cleaner, radiator, alternator, power steering pump, and carburetor are all in the trunk. The convertible top assembly is complete. All the glass is decent and not cracked. All in all, this is a nearly impossible to find project car that needs and deserves a restoration. It is a very complete car that would be ideal for a full resto. Thanks! MikeOn Apr-19-10 at 21:22:00 PDT, seller added the following information:
