For sale is a very nice 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham. This would make a great daily driver or weekend car. It is also a body style that is popular to restore and fix up as a cruiser. It was bought brand new by my Grandfather and I purchased it from him 7 years ago. When I bought it I had the engine overhauled and repainted to the current dark brown. The engine runs very strong and does not burn any oil. It has a small leak coming from the side of the oil pan. Its starts right up in the summer. In the winter it will start right up, but idle roughly for about 25 seconds, then it smooths out and runs great. It averages about 18 miles to a gallon. That is pretty decent for a V8 with a Quadrajet 4 barrel on top. The body has no rust anywhere on it. As you can see by the pictures it has a small dent and crack in the right rear corner. The front left fender and front fiberglass grill shroud were replaced after a small fender bender. There was no damage to the bumper, frame or chassis. I did not even have to realign the front tires. It drives in a perfectly straight line without pulling either way. The interior is in pretty good condition. There are some small tears developing on the front seats, due to the high amount of use they get. It has power windows, locks, driver side seat, brakes, and steering. Everything works well. The only thing that doesn't work is the cruise control. The diaphragm that hooks up to the carburetor was removed due to a leak it developed. This car rides very smooth and is very comfortable and reliable for long trips. If you are lucky enough to win this car, you can pick it up and drive it home, even if you live across country.
