This is a very nice Firebird, with low miles for the year. The bottom of the car has some rust as expected for a car of this age. There are minor scratches and marks on the car from wear on the paint job, the muffler is beginning to show some signs of rust. The radio was stolen about 4 months ago while it was in the driveway. The headlights occaisonally get stuck, but can be manually opened if necessary. This is common with this model and is not a big deal. I am listing this for my nephew because I have more experience with ebay. The information I am providing is as correct and accurate as possible. The car was purchased by my nephew in winter of 2008. He used his life savings to buy this car. He did his best to keep it in great condition, and drove it to work and school until last fall. He still drives it occaisonally to keep it running, and because he enjoys driving the car. He is selling the car because he was able to get a 2010 Cobalt LT during the cash for clunkers. He spent about a thousand dollars on repair shortly after he bought it, and about five hundred more since then. The directional stick was replaced in winter 2008, the computer was replaced shortly after that. A new driveshaft was installed in fall of 2009 and an oil leak was repaired in 2009 also. The battery was replaced a few days ago. The car runs great and is in good shape. It is a 16 year old car and will have wear and tare, but look at the pictures and you will see how nice it is. This will be a fun first car. It is a 6 cylinder and gets decent gas mileage. If you are lookin for sporty with economy this would be the right car.
