From the twin-turbocharged 255 hp rotary engine, to the optional R1 package with amazing suspension and brakes, this 2800+ pound rocket sports an addicting blend of power and roadholding that STILL hangs with many of the big budget cars built today. Why buy this RX-7? ALL-STOCK, UNMODIFIED, CLEAR TITLED R1 package car!!! This is one of the finest examples of a third generation RX-7 you'll find available in the country. Last year, the car was professionally upgraded and painted a PPG Tri-coat Yellow pearl and is ABSOLUTELY stunning. No expense was spared in the repaint, and it shows. It shines beautifully, and cost the previous owner almost $10,000 to have refinished. The exterior of this car virtually LOOKS near-NEW. The interior looks great; no stains, tears, etc, and has little wear to the seats and upholstery. No funny smells, and everything works as it should, though the A/C does not blow cold and needs atleast a recharge. The tires are in excellent condition, and the wheels are straight and in good shape, looking great from a distance but showing their age under close investigation, noting the rear driver's side wheel has some curb damage. This car runs and drives amazing. It has the R1 package, with a front and rear spoiler, special tuned suspension, and dual oil coolers. The rotors were just recently updated to cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and the cars runs, drives, handles, and brakes AWESOME. THIS CAR NEEDS NOTHING but a NEW OWNER!!! NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED IN MAINTAINING THIS CAR: - Rebuilt engine in 2004 (receipt shows $7,600 spent on rebuild)Rebuild includes a full receipt and list of parts and labor performed by ARJ Enterprises in Deleware, Oh.
