This is a 1979 AMC AMX. All original & stock. It still sports the two barrel carb and single exaust. This amx has the 304 engine and a 4 speed trans with 77,454 miles. The paint is original and faded. The only rust on the car is on the drivers floor (three holes) and one on the passenger side rocker panel under the door by the front fender. The frame rail is rust free.(see pics for these areas). The motor runs but sounds like it has a bad miss. Might just be a bad carb needing rebuilding or replacing. It does'nt make any knocking noises. The drivers side rear window was missing when I bought it, but since I have found a replacement tinted for A/C. The front spoiler was off the car also, has some road rash as you can see in the pics.. The only thing that does'nt work is the gas gauge. The car has tilt wheel, delay wipers, A/C, AM/FM/CB radio, power locks, rear window defrost and cloth seats. The seats are faded from the sun but have no rips or tears. I ripped up the carpet up front to check the floor boards and seen the rust holes. The carpet was bad anyway. The headliner is sagging in the back. Brakes are very weak like the front or backs are not working. I have only drove this car around the block two years ago. I bought this car just like you see it to restore but don't have the time or funds anymore. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Car must be trailered or towed due to engine and brakes. Cash only.
