This car has been my pride and joy, it has been fun working with this car, keeping it maintained and serviced. The car has 170k miles with a rebuild motor. The reason why I am selling this car is because it has just been sitting in my garage, I just got a new car and have not had the time to drive it this. I have no insurance for the 3000gt and I had the plates transferred to my new car so i can't even drive it. but the main reason I am selling it is because I just do not have the time for it anymore. This car is sold as is. 5 speed manual trans. I have recently had the block bored out and had oversized pistons put in, the crankshaft was re-cut and balanced. heads were cleaned and checked for leaks, compressions are good. Clutch only has about 2000miles on it, catches great, Transmission is good haven't had any gear slipping or anything of that sort. The car is virtually rust proof it does have some rust on the undercarriage however for a 17yr old car that is normal, I have 2 sets of rims, Stock and aftermarket Koenig. since the rebuild the rpm have not been coming down fast enough but this might be fixed with a good tune job, there is an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator to make tuning easier. the lifters are new but you can still hear them a little bit while the car is running. NO LEAKS!!! that's right, all gaskets are new and do not leak one bit. as far as the mechanical goes, like i said before I believe that a good tune job should take care of the rpms. the exterior paint has the regular scratches, front bumper has bite marks from the previous owners dog. the driver-side quarter panel has a couple of dents and like i said, some nicks and scratches on the paint. the interior is fair the car has custom fit seat covers, the defrost vents are cracked, the plastic cover for the mirror button and light dimmer is broken, needs to be replaced. there is an aftermarket radio/DVD player, infinity speakers in the front, Kenwood speakers in back, a 4 channel Alpine Amp.
