The van was constructed for a local Metro customer who after completing it (as well as a good deal of upfitting), decided he wanted us to build him a diesel instead. He never even drove the van, but paid for it and has asked us to market it for him. This is a 33k mile original body van. It's beautiful from roof to rubber and everything is new. If you've followed us on social, you know we build a really impressive product. This isn't the cheapest 4x4 window van out there, but it's basically all new and could not be replaced for what we're marketing it for. The van has 4.10 gears and the 5.4 is new from Ford, so it really runs well and drives so nicely. I've driven this van in a snow storm and it rips in 4x4. exteriorThis rig is in super clean shape. We didn't do any body or paint work on it other than touching up the bumpers. All the doors open and close easily, has a new windshield, new wheels, tires, TPMS sensors, roof rack/ladder are powdercoated and light is new. We build the racks in house. The lamps all work, undercarriage is nice and clean, no body rust, no hail, other than a 2 small body nicks, it's all just gorgeous. interiorThe interior is super tidy. The seats are freshly upholstered in new vinyl which make the interior smell like new car smell. It has new carpet in the back and new mylar backed anti-microbial treated padding up front under the vinyl. Everything was stripped bare, cleaned and put back together. The rear buckets integrate with the factory shoulder belts and they also slide forward for additional cargo room! The rear seat belts at the very back have been removed to keep from banging around. If you need an additional bench, we can install one. This van has been wired and setup for towing, all out our shop, no previous towing. It has a 7/4 pin harness, brake controller and class IV hitch. This rig has 4.10 gearing front and rear which is really rare for a 5.4. The van has power options, nice cold front/rear air, everything works. Cruise control can be added for additional, it does not currently have cruise. Does have keyless entry and factory alarm, windows are tinted fresh with 3m, if you want the windshield strip removed we can take it off no problem. build / mech / miscThere isn't much on this van that isn't new. Our standard TV conversion includes but is not limited to:all new moog premium tie-rods, hellwig heavy duty sway bar and new moog links, new moog premium ball joints, new front brake calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, new abs sensors keep factory abs intact, new pro-comp monotube aluminum shocks front and rear, custom drive-shafts, new 4-link front end with all new grade 10 hardware and bushings, 1.5" tooled solid track bar w/ 7/8" heim joints, re-manufactured 4R75 with low stall torque converter, 18k/18mo warranty through WIT, reconditioned NP271 t-case with new linkages, LED 4x4 indicator light, has manual locking hubs, axle is from 2008 F-350 with around 40k miles, new fluids in front/rear diffs, t-case and trans, many other new parts. The customer had us install a crate Ford motor in this van, it does have very very low mileage on the body, but occasionally we have clients that just want the best of everything. Time can take wear on vehicles just as mileage can, so I can see how someone might want the security. At any rate, van has a new motor from Ford with a 100k warranty. Documentation will be included on this unit, at our dealer cost of about $4500. The van carries a 6 month 6k mile warranty on 4x4 conversion parts nation wide even, labor local included, free 1000 mile check through if you're local. (This is something we normally offer, but I've definitely checked over it several times since build.) The transmission comes with an 18 month 18,000 mile warranty for unit only, no labor. You will be provided with a parts replacement sheet for the 4x4 components, effectively all the serviceable components of which are available through Ford or by aftermarket application. We will also include an alignment sheet spec for you. We keep nut and bolt records on our vans so if you need something in the future we will have the answer. This van should pass emissions anywhere, exhaust is unmodified, local Colorado emissions was performed in about November as well.
