For sale is a 2002 Ford F-250 XLT Pickup. I've owned it for several years and it had run well. Since I owned it was only used a few times a month for dump and Home Depot runs. New plugs and coil packs about a year ago. Several brake lines have been replaced, as well as the driver side caliper. Front brake pads will need to be replaced soon, a fresh set of NAPA pads is included with the truck. Passenger side caliper looks like it might have a leak. Alternator was replaced less than 100 miles ago, with a new battery about a year ago as well. The vacuum controlled 4 wheel drive was an issue when I purchased the trunk, so I opted to put on Warn Premium Manual locking hubs that cost me over $250, I have not had an issue since. The truck has Rancho 5000 gas shock all around with a Rancho steering stabilizer. The body has the typical rear fender rust, but I have replacement stamped patch panels that will be included with the sale of the truck. Truck also has other typical dings and rust spots of a work truck. The trunk front bumper needs replacing. I have access to a new uninstalled front bumper that the buyer can purchase for an additional amount TBD based on the final auction price. I also have access to a set of new fender flairs that can also be purchased by the buyer if interested, again price will be based on the final auction price. Reserve amount is VERY low. The BAD, I was driving the truck last weekend and it died, no warning lights, no check engine lights, etc. I tried to restart the truck and couldn't, it was making a strange sound as it cranked and finally would not turn at all. Starter would just click and could not turn the motor over. I had it towed home, charged the battery and the starter would still click but not turn the motor. I tried using a breaker bar on the crank and could not turn the motor either. A friend of mine also looked at it and we both came to to the conclusion that the motor is ceased. No Tire kickers please, and no inspections, what you see is what you get, Truck does not run so it can not be road tested. PLEASE NOTE: If you purchase this truck assume you will need to replace the motor, it does not run. Used Ford 5.4 motors are readily available on Ebay for around $1,500 delivered, this is a non EGR motor. Winner bidder will need to have this truck towed away, please do not bid or purchase with the intentions of tiring to fix it and drive it home, it will need to be towed. Please no games either, I'm not shipping it to some port, or refunding for shipping cost, no checks, no money orders.
