Up for sale is my 2003 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG 5.4 liter V8 Supercharged M113k493hp / 510tqAutomatic with shifter "paddle/buttons" on steering wheelFully loaded Runs & drives good All tires 80% and better Clean title in hand This has dymanic/massaging/heated/cooled/adjusting seats for both front and rear seatsRare center console option on rear seatsAC/Heat working greatIt has a couple areas with cosmetic paint issues listed in detail below Motor mounts and trans mount just replaced, $500 parts and laborBrand new radiator and thermostat $400+180k miles I will try to get better photos on here asap. Please read entire description and feel free to message me with questions or picture requests. Detailed descriptions of what the car needs and what has already been done are listed below. These are my personal notes on the car, so please forgive any cause for confusion. I am copying/pasting it in without editing it. The short version:Starts, drives and rides great overall. Needs a little attention in some areas to be perfect. It has been very reliable so far. Mechanically it starts right up and has no catastrophic errors or check engine lights. It does have an SRS warning and a Distronic warning. This is due to a sensor that has gone bad or has a bad connection. A Star diagnostic system check will reveal exactly which sensor it is. Cruise control does not work due to this sensor issue. The engine will occasionally hesitate after it has warmed up, this is due to a vacuum leak and it needs new MAP sensor.This only happens at certain throttle levels. So on the highway it does not happen, it only occurs while city driving. Cosmetically, it needs a refresh of paint on both fenders, some spots on the front bumper and drivers side front door. The "V8 Kompressor" badge needs to be reinstalled once this is done on the drivers side, I have the original badge letters. The top roof line surrounding the sunroof in front also needs some attention. I ordered enough oem code 040 paint in 12oz spray cans and includes clear coat. There are some minor rust spots on the doors, only in the bottom corners. It needs both mirrors replaced. They work but the led turn signal on the passenger side needs replacing and the mirror glass on the driver side needs replacing. You can buy the entire mirror for both sides for under $100. The AMG badge on the driver seat is missing, and the jack point cover on the drivers side is missing. $50 to replace both. There are no dents or signs of any accident whatsoever. All the original oem stickers are where they should be. There is next to no rust on the car, and the under carriage is perfect and pretty clean. The interior is in excellent condition. The cup holder in the center console is missing, and the center console lid is loose, but aside from that the seats, dash, headliner, floors/carpets and door panels are all in wonderful condition and everything works. New motor and transmission mounts, and a new radiator and thermostat were installed by the previous owner.Since I've had it, I have installed the following: New upstream o2 sensorsNew spark plugs, all 16 replacedNew Coil packs, all 8 replacedNew K&N air filtersOil change and filter less than 500 miles ago (Mobil1 0w40 and oem Mann filter)Transmission oil drained and refilled (not flushed), w/ new filter, pan gasket, 16 pin electrical connector (Shell ATF134)New drivers door windows/trunk release control unitNew supercharger oil - Mobil Jet Engine Oil IINew power steering filter and oilNew fuel filterNew ABC suspension filter and chf11s oilNew supercharger belt and tensioner pulley So it needs some cosmetic clean up and some minor mechanical/electrical attention. This was and is an adult owned vehicle. As it sits, it runs great and is FAST. I have driven it like an old lady mostly, but do get on it from time to time and it is unbelievably fast for as large and heavy as it is. You do not need to worry about over taking just about any car with this S55. Like most people who have owned one or driven one always say - 100mph feels like 60mph in this car, be very careful navigating in it, you can get in trouble very quickly! I am selling it because I am in need of an SUV for work. The equipment I need to transport does not fit in the S55, and I'd hate to damage the interior trying to get it in. I hate to sell it and will probably pick up another S55 or CL55 later, but right now an SUV is what's needed most. The S55 comes with 1 key/keyfob remote.The manuals are not included. Spare tire is included, and some of the tool kit items are included. Terms: I will not ship the vehicle myself. It is up to the buyer to coordinate/pay for shipping and/or pickup of the vehicle. Has misc. electronics issuesRear trunk assist not working - needs pump and cylinder replaced: $99 usedRear license plate lights are out - fixed, replaced with new LED bulbsTrunk release/soft close button doesn’t work due to pump issue. Works but makes noise and is slow when closing/opening.New hood shocks installed $48 Interior trunk release not working, trunk button is broken. Replacing entire window/trunk release panel on drivers door $60 used, completed 12/22 Distronic and srs errors - sensor somewhere is bad or connection issues.Cruise not working due to distronic error.Stereo is perfect.Seats and windows options perfect.tint on a couple windows is peeling.Dynamic/heating/cooling seats for all 4 seats works fine. Massaging works fine on all 4 seats. AMG badge missing from driver’s seat, $50 to replace both. Engine:Inconsistent hesitation at any rpm, and random after engine has warmed up.No leaks found, could be vacuum leak somewhere around emissions components, or more likely needs a new MAP sensor.Mann filter 718/5x and Mobil1 0w40 purchased 12/23 $80Oil changed w/ new filter. Brakes/suspension/tires:No abc or air ride leaks at all. Amazing condition.
