Bought here on ebay last summer, with no title, with bill of sale from two prior owners, towed back to Oregon from Eureka.Before I purchased it, The vehicle was sold to person in Eureka as an auction from a Mechanics Lien claim by a repair shop in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We researched lost title with State of Oregon DMV and found that it is "possible" to have a new title issued. Went to local DMV, provided proof of ownership, prior sold info, did paper work, sent certified mail notification to original owner... But we received a rejection letter from Oregon STATE DMV headquarters in Salem. We then followed Salem DMV's instructions, then went back to DMV ; Repeated process twice more. different technical, bureaucratic reasons for rejection each time. We have kept all such paper work.The latest rejection letter from OR DMV Salem says the mechanic's shop in Klamath Falls used an out of date form when they sold it at auction to the person I bought it from, and to get them to produce a new form. So they rejected our lost title application 3 times so far.But we need to move on to other projects. We just don't have time to chase the any further. It MAY be POSSIBLE to get a title in Oregon if you want to chase the bureaucracy.BUT No guarantee. So this is a one dollar no reserve auction, with payment in FULL via paypal at time of auction end. This is an auction to purchase and haul away, not to come look and try to negotiate. So bid accordingly. Vehicle is located in rural Josephine County Oregon within 1 mile of Interstate I-5, about 15 minutes north of Grants Pass.
