Up for auction is an all original BMW R60US with telescoping forks. The US models are the rarest due to their low production. There were only 728 R60US models produced in 1968. This bike has only 23,600 original miles and has nice twin solo seats. There is surface rust on the frame (came originally from costal VA) but no rot or repair work ever. Has minor dings and imperfections throughout as shown in the photos. The bike starts easily, runs out excellent and shifts very nicely into all gears. The tank has near perfect red coating inside. Brand new tires front and back and brakes work good. New battery just installed. Simply get on and ride. I've had many BMW R60s and although it's not the best in appearance of BMWs I've owned, its hands down the best running and riding R60 I've had. The video below is truly a cold start from sitting for some time in my office showroom where its been kept comfortably for the last several years.
