I’m the second owner of this Explorer. We purchased it from my in-laws. We planned to keep it forever as a utility when family was in town or when we just needed more space. Well we have moved and no longer have space for it. Over the past 3 years only 15k miles have been added. In this time the suspension was completely redone as well as brakes, rear differential fluid changed, plugs, coil packs, coolant, hoses, and belt. Front wheel bearings were done probably 4 years ago. A/C is ice cold and the car runs great. Only items are the fact that the power door lock for the drivers door sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. The key works every time though. Same can be said for the backup sensors. However they seem to not work after it rains. After the car dries, it’s all back to normal. Other than that it runs great. Has an aftermarket Sony headunit with manual that has bluetooth streaming and phone. Also has hardwired dual rear screen dvd players. Will need new tires before the rainy season.
