Up for auction is a clean 1995 Ford Bronco XL with a 5.0L engine and a 5 speed manual transmission that is in excellent shape. It is presented here with nothing more than a general cleaning and a 2-day old car wash. No Armor-All was harmed in the creation of this advertisement! The truck has about 227K miles on it and will remain my daily driver until sold, so mileage may increase slightly during the auction--I have an 80 mile round trip to work and back. The truck is not perfect, but is extremely well maintained, runs and drives well, and can can be driven anywhere at a moments notice. With the exception of the tire size (32x11.50) and the custom steps, it has remained stock. It has had all maintenance issues addressed as they occurred as long as I have owned it. New battery in the last 6 months, and it starts fine even in sub-freezing weather. In the past 2 years it's had the entire steering mechanism replaced, to include the steering gear, so she steers well and does not wander. The entire cooling system--water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, serpentine belt (recent), and heater core--has also been replaced since I've owned it. It has also had a new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, and a MotorCraft slave cylinder. Very recent brakes up front, as well as all shocks, and an entire exhaust system from the exhaust manifolds back, to include the catalytic converter. El Paso county does not have an emission inspection requirement, but it passed with flying colors 3 years ago in Douglas County after I bought it. It's also had a new ignition coil, spark plugs, Taylor spark plug wires, MSD distributor cap, pick-up coil, and EGR valve. Fuel pressure is 39psi at WOT (well within spec), and oil pressure is 37psi at idle and at running temperature with 5W30 engine oil, and climbs with RPM increase as it should. It spends most of its time on the highway (I-25) and gets about 14.5 Mpg at 80 Mph, but slower speeds will yield better results. The only thing that does not work on this truck is the button that turns on the dome light when the driver's door is opened. Dome and map lights work perfectly otherwise. The body is clean, but does have small dings and flaws associated with its age. Paint is in excellent shape, and shows signs that it has had new paint at some point. There is a very small bubble of rust over the rear drivers quarter panel, but it is not obvious. The interior is in good shape, and the original front seats have been replaced with those from a later model truck. The dash is not cracked, and comes with a Bluetooth-capable head unit. A/C blows extremely cold and does not leak. The truck comes equipped with a VHF/UHF HAM radio--but don't operate it without a HAM radio licence. It can readily be replaced with a CB radio if so desired, and will not require any major re-wiring. The rear window operates as it should with both the key and the dash switch. Winter tires are mounted and have plenty of tread. They are a little on the loud side, and could use a good balance. There are no summer tires that come with the truck, but I will include a set of rims for that purpose.
