1966 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE Nice car in its' original factory colors, vintage burgundy with black interior and black top. Original 289 (C code)with automatic(C4) with full floor console, power steering and factory power brakes. New Borgeson power steering system provides smooth, easy handling with just the right amount of assist like. This state of the art system eliminates all the hoses and other components normally hanging down under the car. Factory power brakes make the car easy to drive. Rebuilt, original 289 engine runs strong, with good oil pressure and no overheating and still has the factory ID tag attached. Rebuilt transmission shifts as new. New fuel pump, newer battery and brakes, newer top and window. Electric top operates smoothly. Newer dual exhaust system, brakes and tires. All original "Carlite" glass, including windshield, deluxe seat belts. Fenders have factory date stamps visible. Original intake manifold, Autolite distributor, original rebuilt Autolite 2100 carb with ID tag. Exhaust has nice tone (see video below). Car tracks straight with wheel centered and brakes well. Original wheel covers (including spare). Original am radio with hidden fm convertor. All engine gauges operating, accurate and steady speedometer. Lights, turn signals, wipers, emergency flashers, etc. working. Excellent chrome bumpers and emblems. Nice panel and bumper fit. Solid undercarriage with original floors, solid torque boxes and subframe. Car cover, duster, top boot, original jack and handle. Offered at no reserve.
