Selling my 2006 Volkswagen GTI to fund building a motorcycle. Bought the car originally to serve as a fun second vehicle for Autocross and supplement a company car. However, for some reason I’m a fool and want to try my hand at motorcycles since they take up less room in a crowded garage. The car is a 2006 (MK5 Body) Volkswagen GTI with the 2.0T engine. It has just over 123k miles and overall is in pretty good shape for being 13 years old. To prepare it for winter, I just had all new rotors and pads installed, as well as replaced a noisy wheel bearing. It also has 4 brand new tires as well as new wipers to make sure she was ready to rock. The car also has the optional 18” wheels as well as a power sunroof that isn’t on a lot of GTIs I see for sale. The only things wrong with the car are rock chips on the front of the car and a small gash in the front bumper and a check engine light for a P0456 EVAP Code. Just had the car detailed for the new owner.
