The Aspen silver paint has a good overall shine with only a few minor nicks, scratches, faded areas and other light cosmetic blemishes. Overall this is one still handsome BMW sedan!THE INTERIOR As I hope is articulated in the photos, the interior of this '98 BMW is in good to very good condition overall with working six-digit odometer and other gauges. Imperfections inside the car include typical driver seat "twist" on the recline function, light expected wear on the leather and trim, a worn spot on the top of the steering wheel, a few bad pixels on the display panel and right rear window inop. Overall this is still one quite comfortable, stylish and safe German cockpit!THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This 540i has a great running quite powerful and torquey engine with quiet timing chain and guides and superb sounding Dinan exhaust along with excellent braking and fairly tight yet supple suspension. The tires are weak and produce a slight shimmy.
