The year is 1988 and everyone is customizing their cars. You have friends that do good work so you buy a couple of cases of beer and cut the roof off your challenger. Then you add a 440 magnum and a 4speed from a charger and you are in business! Yes some folks will be horrified but if you want to look like 50 grand for a fraction of the price here you go. This car takes off like a rocket and snorts the meanest MoPar snort I've ever had the pleasure of driving. The power is deep. The shifting is crisp. There is an electric fan if you need to cool that big engine in traffic. I cruised around for an hour this morning and the response to this car was great. I even got followed to the photo spot by a cool cop that wanted to take a hard look at it. The paint is good but has some faded spots here and there. I bought this car for a friend almost a decade ago and he was quite happy with it. Recently a triple trade brought it back to me and it is a hoot. If you have a garage and a good attitude this could be the wheels you've been waiting for. Did you want to build a track car? Do you want to make a hardtop for it? There are quite a few fun possibilities down the road. We didi come up with a complete convertible top that lines up really well. A couple weekends of tinkering and even the do it yourself guy could make this top bolt up. The thumbs up I got this morning was great, So it can live with me for now.
