Once removed from service as an emergency vehicle, it was utilized as a summer intern vehicle by the Public Works Department. The vehicle currently has 91,051 miles, 13,641 engine hours, 9,490 idle hours and was removed from service in October 2018 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The front & rear tires have approximately 30% tread remaining. The vehicle runs well, but the front suspension sounds as though it may be worn when driving over rough pavement. The exterior is in fair condition. The hood has light scratches present. The front bumper has scratches & scrapes present, particularly on the lower edge. The driver side front door has light scratches & dings present. The driver side rear door has scratches & dings present. The roof has four (4) plugged & sealed holes present from where emergency lighting & radio antennas were previously mounted. Both side edges at the center point of the roof has some surface discoloration/rust & three (3) small screw holes from where the emergency light bar was secured to the vehicle. The trunk lid has two (2) plugged & sealed holes present & a small square area where adhesive remains where emergency radio antennas were previously installed. The rear bumper has multiple scratches & scrapes present, along with a more significant area on the passenger side corner. The rear quarter panel has a few minor scratches present. The passenger side rear door has a few minor dings & scratches present. The passenger side front door has multiple dings & scratches present. The passenger side front fender is missing the plastic trim piece. The interior is in good condition. There is a velcro strip present at the center portion of the upper dash. The lower dash has two (2) small screw holes present & one of the power points is missing the cover. Both the b-pillar trim pieces have four (4) holes present from where the prisoner cage was mounted to the vehicle. The driver seat fabric is torn & worn through. The driver seat fabric on the rear is also worn from rubbing against the prisoner cage. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Feb 2018, at 86,347 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Dec 2017, at 83,060 miles, the right side headlight bulb, exhaust manifold, one catalytic converter, & the oxygen sensors were replaced. In Nov 2017, at 81,688 miles, the spark plugs & purge valve were replaced. In Oct 2017, at 81,368 miles, the battery was replaced. In Aug 2017, at 76,782 miles, the license plate light bulbs & cabin air filter was replaced. In Apr 2017, the fuel pump control module was replaced as part of recall # 16S31. Also in Apr 2017, at 68,868 miles, the rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, & driver side front turn signal assembly were replaced. In Feb 2017, at 65,810 miles, the spot light handle assembly was replaced. In early Feb 2017, at 65,449 miles, the right side headlight bulb was replaced & the left rear tire was repaired. In Jan 2017, at 65,181 miles, the front brake pads & front brake rotors were replaced. In Dec 2016, at 63,476 miles, all four tires were replaced. In Oct 2016, at 60,960 miles, the driver side wiper blade was replaced. In Aug 2016, at 58,881 miles, both wiper blades were replaced. In Jun 2016, at 56,063 miles, the coolant fill tank was replaced. Also in Jun 2016, at 56,060 miles, the left rear marker light bulb was replaced. In May 2016, at 55,415 miles, the right rear turn signal bulb was replaced. In Feb 2016, at 53,326 miles, the fuel pump module was replaced. In Dec 2015, at 51,734 miles, the washer pump motor was replaced. Also in Dec 2015, the vehicle had the body control module replaced and the inner door handle recall completed.at the local Ford dealership. In early Dec 2015, at 51,726 miles, the drive belt & right front turn signal bulb were replaced. In Oct 2015, at 50,026 miles, the right rear brake light bulb was replaced. In July 2015, at 45,470 miles, the vehicle had minor accident damage repaired at the right front corner of the vehicle & was returned to service as an emergency response vehicle. In Mar 2015, at 40,961 miles, one headlight bulb was replaced. In Mar 2015, at 40,625 miles, the right rear wheel was replaced. In Jan 2015, at 36,910 miles, the spot light bulb was replaced. In Oct 2014, at 31,765 miles, the driver side rear view mirror, driver side rear center hub cap & purge valve were replaced at the local Ford dealership. Also, the dealership reprogrammed the PCM per recall # 14B05. In Sept 2014, at 29,619 miles, the left front turn signal assembly was replaced at the local Ford dealership under warranty. In Aug 2014, at 27,283 miles, the half shaft was inspected by the local Ford dealership per recall # 14S10 & the driver seat belt latch sensor was replaced. In July 2014, at 27,143 miles, the passenger side headlight bulb was replaced. In June 2014, at 25,039 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Apr 2014, at 20,769 miles, the right side headlight bulb was replaced. In Jan 2014, at 16,585 miles, the right front turn signal was replaced under warrant & the vehicle had the fuel pump replaced under recall # 13S04 at the local Ford dealership. In Jan 2014, at 16,584 miles, the driver side headlight bulb was replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
