Vehicle Detail

I am selling my beautiful 1975 Triumph T160 Trident electric start. 6450 original miles! matching numbers! This bike was purchased from the original owner and i have the original title. These bikes were the only triumphs to come out of the 70s with an electric starter, and it works great! this bike came out of an air conditioned storage unit where it sat for 30 years. It is is 90% original other than the exhaust system which is an original muffler and aftermarket 3 into 1. Being that it was in climate controlled storage, the original chrome and aluminum are in amazing shape. The bike has new intake boots, manifold gaskets, petcocks, handlebar mount rubbers, air filter, fork seals and oil, all oils and filter have been changed, and rebuilt front and rear master cylinders. The tank is immaculate on the inside. All lighting works as well as the horn. As far as running, tickle the three carburetors and it fires right up. the idle is not perfect but it does idle. My guess would be a bit better of a carb sync. It runs perfect going down the road and is quick and comfortable. The charging system works great and has a newer AGM battery. The tires are the original dunlops. they are usable but need to be changed. I figured it would be best for the buyer to decide what tires they wanted. You can see in one of the pictures the rear portion of the seat has a small tear. The only other issue is that like ALL triumphs, it has wet sumped a could of times and caused it to burn oil. I drained the oil from the crankcase and hit the ball check valve to reseat so i believe it is good now. if they sit for too long this can be a common issue and is very likely to cause exhaust smoke until emptied from the crank case and put back into the oil tank. Let me know if you have any questions! thanks for looking! VIDEOHere is a quick walk around with start up and rev. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4gSLr6pSic&authuser=0
