We bought this Popular Explorer from the insurance after it was involved in a fresh water claim. We brought it into our shop and after doing an oil change we started it and took it on a short test drive. Most of the electronics seem to be functioning properly, however we have... made no repairs to the vehicle. We recommend replacing any electronics below the water line that may have gotten wet. The water line was at the bottom of the front seats. Ford is very reasonable with their electronics, so any person with some common sense and mechanical experience can fix this car and save!
