Once removed from service as an emergency vehicle, it was utilized as a summer intern vehicle by the Public Works Department. The vehicle currently has 87,251 miles, 14,848 engine hours, 10,869 idle hours and was removed from service in September 2018 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The front & rear tires have approximately 20-30% tread remaining. The vehicle runs well. The exterior is in fair condition. The hood has minor light scratches present. The left front fender has minor light scratches present. The roof has four (4) plugged & sealed holes present from where police emergency equipment was mounted. Also, the center roof edges has some surface corrosion & three (3) small screw holes present from where the light bar was secured to the vehicle. The right rear quarter panel has some light scratches present. The passenger side rear door has light scratches & multiple door dings in the upper portion present. The passenger side front door has light scratches & multiple door dings in the upper portion present. The interior is in good condition. There is a velcro strip present at the center portion of the upper dash. There are also two (2) small screw holes present in the lower portion of the dash beneath the climate controls. The driver seat back rear material has indentations present from rubbing against the prisoner cage. The b-pillars on each side have four (4) holes present about the size of a quarter from where the prisoner cage was installed & secured to the vehicle. Both rear door faces have eight (8) small screw holes present from where the prisoner window bars were previously installed. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Feb 2018, at 83,685 miles. At this service, the left side outer tie rod end was replaced & an alignment was performed. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Sept 2018, at 87,251 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. In Aug 2018, the vehicle had accident damage repaired involving the rear trunk lid & rear bumper. In July 2018, at 86,885 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. Also in July 2018, at 86,727 miles, the front brake pads & front brake rotors were replaced. In Apr 2018, at 85,503 miles, the alternator & serpentine belt were replaced. In Apr 2017, at 70,886 miles, the rear brake pads, rear rotors, both front tires, & the right front wheel assembly were replaced. In Feb 2017, at 69,641 miles, the purge valve & three marker light bulbs were replaced. Also, the vehicle had the water pump replaced at the local Ford dealership under warranty. In Aug 2016, at 64,523 miles, the water pump was replaced at the local Ford dealership. In Aug 2016, at 64,120 miles, the front stabilizer links were replaced. In Apr 2016, at 58,489 miles, the right front turn signal socket assembly was replaced. In Feb 2016, at 55,383 miles, the front brake pads & front brake rotors were replaced. Also in Feb 2016, at 55,233 miles, the spot light bulb was replaced with an LED bulb, the left rear tire was repaired, & the check engine light was reset. In Dec 2015, at 52,920 miles, the vehicle was repaired at the local Ford dealer for a catalyst inefficiency issue. In Sep 2015, at 48,952 miles, the vehicle battery was replaced. In Aug 2015, at 47,490 miles, all four tires were replaced. In July 2015, at 45,174 miles, the driver side headlight bulb & the purge valve were replaced. In June 2015, at 43,681 miles, the driver side turn signal assembly was replaced. Also in early June 2015, at 43,064 miles, the front sway bar links were replaced. In Jun 2014, at 23,726 miles, the left front tire was replaced. In Apr 2014, at 20,105 miles, the vehicle was repaired at the local Ford dealer due to having multiple warranty related issues. In Feb 2014, at 17,158 miles, the vehicle had an SRS fault issue repaired at the local Ford dealer under warranty. Also in Feb 2014, at 16,691 miles, the left side headlight bulb was replaced. In Dec 2013, at 13,274 miles, the vehicle had a recall repair completed at the local Ford dealership. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
