Vehicle Detail
Selling off several bikes as I have duplicates..... this one came to me as you see it. it's an excellent all-around bike this is one of the strongest if not the strongest 305 I have ever ridden....the bike came with low compression and a slipping clutch...unregistered since 1971..... we had it board once oversized at a professional machine shop new piston abd rings fitted and a new Barnett clutch and battery....bimgo....its new again!...it runs incredible .you can finish breaking it in .starts easy... runs great the bike is as you see it... the front fender should be cut and a different Mount fabricated or purchased .....or just leave it the way it is it's been that way for a decade, works just fine .....tank has zero rust inside .....everything looks nice and clean..... brand new Barnett clutch installed by the same Factory trained retired Honda technician with over 50 years of experience he also handled the top end you will be thrilled as long as you realistic this is not a show bike but it's probably one of the very few left real unrestored bikes . looks like somebody sprayed silver here and there but it's mostly original and it's mostly all there and it looks outstanding ....goes down the road straight brakes are good.... shifts fine...more Great bikes to follow...tank has a flat spot and tiny dent ot two... chrome is amazing for being 50 something years old. Tires are excellent....new battery as well. Kick it over...change the oil as needed and it will be here another 50 years....its a Honda.I put the mileage at 30 because who knows what the real mileage is on a 50 plus year old motorcycle I can tell you this it has less than 30 on the new Pistons so that's why I did that I've run it through for heat cool Cycles you can do the rest change the oil....often....and it willBecome a family heirloom.
