Vehicle Detail
I was going to keep this but I just never use it. This is the last year for Studebaker. This vehicle is very nice. I have owned this for 11 years. I was told the vehicle had never had any rust and it appears that way. This has 1965 moldings. I was told this could have been put on in the factory if it was early. This vehicle was the 20th V8 vehicle built for the 1966 model year. It is possible that this started down the line as a 1965 and changed to 1966. Final assembly was August 23, 1966. It was originally white in color. Color was changed in doors everywhere. The AC does not work since I bumped the line on the AC compressor and the Freon left. It worked until that point. Clock does not work. Has been stored indoors. Not driven in rain or winter the last 11 years. Just to cruise in's. This Studebaker was built in Canada and has the McKinnon 283 V8 engine that was manufactured by General Motors engine plant in Canada. Has dual exhaust. Sounds very healthy. This vehicle is very solid. Does not appear to have had any rust repair or in the need of. This is very nice body and frame. One of the cleanest I have seen. I went to have an alignment and the garage said it needs upper and lower control arm bushings. I bought new ones but they are not installed. They do go with the car. Also the starter clicks sometimes and does not turn over. It goes in spells where it does this and then not. The owner I bought it from never told me this but said he put 2 starter on it and it still did this. It has never left me stranded but clicks sometimes so you keep trying and it will start. It has about a 1/8 inch chip on the left rear quarter. Has a 1/16 chip on left front fender in front. Appears to be a base clear paint. It is done very well and looks as good and Shines as good as my 2018 Jeep. Opening bid would probably be the cost of this paint job. If you want this I am not taking anything less than the opening bid. I feel it is worth much more. If you have less than 10 feedback contact me before bidding. On Sep-26-18 at 12:57:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I drove this car today. It looks very nice. Today it started right up and drove down the road smooth without any problems. The lucky bidder will be very happy with this purchase. If you are the high bidder and you show up and it is not everything I said you will not be required to purchase. I hate to get rid of it because it is so nice. Just do not have time to give it the proper attention. I added a picture of the drivers side since this was brought to my attention. Very nice Studebaker! Thanks for looking.
