Up for sale is my dependable, clean daily driver. It is a 2000 Hyundai Accent Truck.Yes, I meant to say "truck". At my repair and custom car shop, I do odd modifications to my personal vehicles. This little car started life as a hatchback but about 9 months ago, I turned it into a "work-horse"...Well, maybe a "work-pony". All the work I did to it was done out of steel. There is no fiberglass involved, meaning this conversion will last decades and still look just as amazing as it does now. Being that this car is one of my daily drivers, it gets extremely well maintained. Before my 1500 mile trip from Sacramento California to Salt Lake City Utah, It got 5 new tires, timing belt, water pump, coolant, engine oil, transmission gear oil, all serpentine belts, AC lube and charge, spark plugs/wires and an air filter. Meaning this car is 100% ready to drive across the country, to use as a commuter car or an around-town car that you can put a refrigerator in the back of! On my road trip last week, I was averaging 32MPG at 75MPH. The car is quiet and comfortable inside with many power amenities such as: Cold AC, Power windows/mirrors/locks. A Bluetooth/AM/FM/AUX Stereo. The car has been in central California it's whole life. Meaning there isn't a spot of rust anywhere. Everything works. The engine runs perfectly and doesn't tick, leak or smoke. Transmission shifts smooth and the clutch is perfect. The ac blows cold. The stereo sounds good. The rims and hubcaps were detailed when the new tires were installed. All 5 wheels, tires and hubcaps match! The paint was done about 8 months ago and still shows like new, with the exception of a small crack in the front bumper plastic. The back of the "cab" was crafted from the lift gate off of a 2001 Mazda Tribute. The glass opens, locks, defrost works on it and so does the wiper- all being operated by the factory Hyundai Switches. It truly looks like a dealership prototype! In the bed of this truck is a pair of removable "jump-seats". They slide into a receiver and one large bolt holds them securely in place. The seats fold up to maximize storage space while they are in the bed. They have seatbelts and are DOT approved. The bed was made from 2"x2" box tubing covered in 18GA steel. There has been many full size transmissions in the bed and even a Chevrolet 350. I estimate the car can safely hold 700 pounds in the back without bottoming out the suspension. The car has a Clean California title in my name, along with current registration. No check engine light. Never over heats. This car NEEDS NOTHING. 100% turn key and enjoy.
