Up for sale is my 2011 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Ultimate Edition. This was the last year of the Panther cars by Ford Motor Company. There were only 165 Grand Marquis produced in 2011 which is far less than the number of Crown Victoria and Town Cars made. This is my fourth Panther and by far one of the best. I had a 2003 Crown Victoria Sport, 2004 Mercury Marauder, and 2005 Town Car. I am a big guy so these cars fit me well and have the best highway ride I have experienced. I travel between Florida and Virginia a few times per year and this car gets 27 mpg on the highway! Why am I selling it? I just bought a new Suburban to replace the Marquis and my DTS. In the last year, the Marquis received new tires, new brakes, and new front shocks. The 100,000 mile service has been performed as well (spark plugs, fuel filter, fluid flushes). Oil has always been changed every 3,000 miles. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Exterior: The white paint is in great shape. No fading, dents, or major scratches. Shines well and always garage kept. No Rust! Interior: Leather, dash, carpet, and headliner are in great shape. No cuts or warping. Seats are VERY comfortable. Electric: Everything works. A/C is ice cold and heat works great. Power windows, locks, etc all work 100%. Drivetrain: Engine is smooth as can be. No abnormal noises, leaks, or rattles. Transmission shifts very smooth. The 2006 and up Panther cars had a revised transmission which shifts much better than previous years. Rear end makes no noises and suspension is nice and quiet. Not a stiff ride like the Marauder or Crown Victoria sport. Book value is $6,800 to $8,200. Try to find another 2011 in this condition! This is a NO RESERVE auction. Bid to win.
