SORRY FOR THE DELAY FREE WARRANTY I am giving a free 500 mile or 7 day warranty, whichever comes first. It will cover any type of brake, and engine, failure. Nobody else has enough confidence in a vehicle they sell t do this, and although it is a short term and short mileage warranty, if a vehicle goes 500 miles, it will likely keep on going for many more, plus it protects the buyer against any misrepresentation of the vehicle. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION ACCURACY This motorcycle will be exactly as described in the ad. I do not waste my time or other peoples time by over glorifying items I sell in hopes that a person with very bad eyesight will be inspecting them. All my photos are high resolution so you can see more detail in them then in most other peoples photos. If you want a close up photo of any part of the bike, I will be glad to take it for you. I suggest that if you are extremely serious about buying one of these bikes and don't want one that is fairly worn out and that has been beat to death by an officer drag racing it several times a day to catch up to speeders etc, that you look at all the others you are interested in first then look at this one LAST. REGISTRATION It is registered in my name and the registration is good for 1 year. CRASH HISTORY This bike has never been crashed like most of these bikes have at some point and there is not a single scratch on any of the crash bars. VEHICLE HISTORY This bike was NOT used by city police for patrols. It was bought by the Los Angeles School District for their private security on campus and at sports events etc, so it was NEVER used to chase down a speeding motorist and has never been ridden faster than 70 mph, therefore, it is in far better mechanical condition than any police patrol bikes that have similar miles. RECENT SERVICE OIL - New Mobil 1 V Twin oil. This is a full synthetic with Group IV PAO oil and over 1200 ppm ZDDP. It is one of the best oils one can buy and is the same oil used by many professional racers. TIRES - Excellent condition with around 80% tread left and no unusual wear patterns. BRAKES - Excellent with around 90% pad life left in rear and around 60% and the discs are perfectly smooth instead of heavily grooved like they are on most of these police bikes. COSMETIC CONDITION It is in extremely nice condition for a police bike of this year and looks nearly new which is far nicer than most, and I have seen literally hundreds of them. It has a few extremely small and extremely faint marks/scratches on a couple of the panels that you can not see unless you know where they are and get within 2 feet of them, but they definitely don't stand out and don't detract from the overall appearance, so one could be proud to be seen on it anywhere they take it. Below is a description of some of the cosmetics. I used PPG base coat and clear on the parts I painted which costs over $400.00 a gallon and they have a mirror like finish as can be seen in the photos. FUEL TANK - It always had a cloth cover on it so it looks virtually like new. RIGHT SIDE COVER - It had a few scuff marks from boots rubbing it when getting on and off the bike so I bought a new one from Honda. LEFT SIDE COVER - Looks nearly new. SADDLEBAGS -They had some minor scuff marks on them from typical use so I repainted them. REAR COWL - It had some minor scuff marks on it from something so I repainted it. FRONT FAIRING AND MIRROR COVERS - The look virtually like new with no noticeable scratches anywhere. FRONT FENDER - It looks virtually like new. HARDWARE - The finish on all the hardware is very good with no surface rust or significant oxidation, and I had the stainless side panel bolts polished to a mirror like finish as can be seen in the photos. EMERGENCY LIGHTS All the factory emergency light wiring and emergency light fuse box is still on the bike and is still functional, therefore, if one wanted to add lights to use the bike for escort services etc, they can easily be bolted on and wired to the existing wires.
