Buy it Now or Make an Offer on this fantastic 2001 Triumph Speed Triple 955i. This bike was produced in the 5th and final model year for the 2nd gen Speed Triple. The "i" stands for fuel injection. That means easy starts, and minimal warm up time. The Dynojet Power Commander makes great acceleration just that much better. In my experience, no car and few bikes can keep up from a stop. Luckily the triple disk brakes and braided brake lines have you covered. A wave rotor is installed in the rear. Handling is superb to say the least, with the Ohlins Rear Suspension and fully adjustable stock front...You are in control at any speed. Ride height is also adjustable via the installed lowering link. It's set at about 1/2" under stock front and rear. So you get slightly quicker steering due to reduced rake and trail, and an easier reach to the ground at stops. Extras are many...top case, strapless tank bag, center stand, Renthal bars, Rox Risers, Pazzo clutch and ASV brake levers, on and on. Added a picture of the Renthal rear sprocket and chain close up. A new (unmounted) Avon rear tire goes with the bike, as well as assorted special tools to sweeten the deal! This is a turn key bike, that can go coast to coast. It needs very little to be perfect, but can certainly use a nice detailing. Of course there are normal signs of wear on this 17 year old machine, but I can not overstate the goodness of this bike.
