Welcome To CarolinaCorvettes Auctions! About MeI work full time and am the single father of two wonderful children. I sell items part time, mostly BMW and Corvette parts to help fuel my passion for my own hobbies. I used to be a full time eBay seller, though have not recently had enough time to list as much. However, you can see from my feedback that I am a seasoned seller and take the time to accurately list my items. I appreciate your business! About This Item2002 Porsche Carrera 2 Cabriolet ~73k Original MilesSalvage / Damage History NO RESERVE SALE - Highest bid wins the car! I have the car listed locally for $15999, but once a bid is made on this auction, other listings will be taken down out of fairness for the auction process. Hi all, For sale is a nice Porsche 911 Convertible. I recently purchased this car with intentions of letting go of my other 996, though I'm torn between the 2, so I'm putting both for sale and will keep whichever one doesn't sell first. This is a wonderful example of a cheaper 996, though for this price, it does have some flaws that are typical of age/mileage that it has. The car is a beautiful silver with blue interior, and has a 6 speed transmission. It has the PSM option, as well as heated seats (driver side not functioning currently), an upgraded Alpine Navigation system, TechArt Wheels with Pilot Super Sport tires, and a recent brake upgrade. The previous owner tells me the IMS and RMS were done about six years ago (along with a new clutch). The clutch upgrade is evident, this is likely a performance clutch as a stiffer pedal is evident. The key does not currently work for keyless entry functions (I may have a new key before auction closes, but this is not guaranteed). The top works flawlessly, and the car runs and drives great! The car does have a salvage history on it from 7 years ago, though it drives straight and honestly just as nice as my 15k mile 996. The mileage on the odometer reads around 54k, but this is incorrect as the previous owner changed the cluster (due to oil pressure reading) just prior to selling me the car. He stands by the mileage as being 72k, and I have no reason to believe otherwise. He just finished a lengthy divorce in which the car was tied up and not being driven, and I met him at his new home which was about $800,000 - he would have no reason to mislead me, and his story checks out with mileage documentation that is available on the carfax report. I am selling the vehicle with approximate mileage of ~73k, I just purchased the car last month. The title I received from him reads 72129 ACTUAL MILEAGE. Any serious buyers are welcomed to have a PPI done at their expense, I will accommodate transportation to a Porsche mechanic in the Greenville SC area. The car has been upgraded with the turbo front and rear bumpers which look amazing on the car! There are some imperfections in the paint, but overall, it's a nice looking example. If you're looking for perfection, you'll want to spend more money than this car is being marketed for, though this is a great looking car for a Porsche in this price range! The car currently has a TechArt performance exhaust, though I'm planning on swapping this onto my other 996 if I sell this one, so it would have a low mileage stock exhaust - though it can be negotiated to be left on if important to make the sale. I currently have 2 Porsche 911 996's. I'm getting ready to build a dream garage, so one of them must go. This is the cheaper of the pair, the other is a near perfect example with very low mileage and priced accordingly. Please see my other listings if you'd like to see my other 996. Again, I am perfectly happy to keep this car if my other one sells first. I just need to let one of them go so I can begin my new garage construction. They're both a thrill to drive. Any serious buyers are welcome to come drive them both and you can see which one you prefer! Best of luck in your search for your dream car - if I can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you!
