THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner at NO RESERVE is this cool classic 1972 Buick centurion sedan! Finished in root beer brown metallic over lighter brown gold interior, this 46 year-old sedan shows 8,137 miles on its working five digit odometer. It is strongly believed to be just over 108,000 miles but I cannot 100% verify this. This big sports a great running 455 V8 engine mated to the factory three speed automatic transmission, manual windows, AC, Marantz cassette stereo and original wheels with excellent Michelin whitewall tires. Offered here with NO RESERVE this is a fabulous find, for about the cost of the sales tax alone on a new Buick sedan!THE BODY AND TRIM This exterior of this 1972 Buick is in quite good 99% rust-free condition with a nice overall shine to the repainted finish. The bumpers and trim look to be all original in good condition, the vinyl top shows fading and the body has various nicks, scratches and other light blemishesTHE INTERIOR As I hope is articulated in the photos, the interior of this Centurion in in good, QUITE original condition overall. The speedometer and odometer work as do the lights, blinkers and horn. Imperfections include torn original driver side carpet, ripped driver seat bottom cushion, stereo powers up but no sound, headliner seams split and sagging. The interior is generally decent with a solid A minus for originality!THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This 1972 Buick starts easily with strong running engine, smooth shifting transmission, very smooth power steering and power braking and nice comfortable ride.
