Up for sale is my 1996 Bentley Turbo RL. If you are looking at this auction, you know how special this car is. It is 1 of 7 in this color combo (Wild Berry with Cream). It is 1 of 823 in the world made from 1995 to 1998. There is nothing like getting behind the wheel of this generation Bentley. The feel, sound, and visual beauty is like no other car. Most of the RL versions are in Europe and are RHD. My previous Bentley was a short wheel base 1996 Turbo R and the rear leg room difference is amazing with the LWB. I also feel the LWB gives you a better ride. I am only selling it because I found a 1998 Bentley Turbo RT and must sell this one to make room. I am the third owner (carfax and autocheck show 6 but this is incorrect). It has been garage kept. All original paint except the bumpers (painted due to small scuffs seen on history report). Has the very rare stainless steel front grill. In the last year I have put almost $13,000 to make it mechanically perfect. 1) Rebuilt suspension with new bushings, accumulators, dampers, and active ride.2) Overhauled hydraulic brake system with new rotors and pads3) New valve cover gaskets4) Rear differential serviced5) New tires all around6) New front seat motors & batteries7) Repaired central locking system8) New HVAC control module9) New battery10) New trunk module I am sure there is more I am missing. I am a retired mechanical engineer and am very particular on the mechanics. I only let ABACUS racing here in Virginia Beach work on my Bentley vehicles. It has passed the strict Virginia state inspection with flying colors. Exterior: Paint is in great shape. Shines like a mirror and just received full detail last month. Stainless / chrome trim is in great shape with no pitting. Rubber molding still feels solid. No dents. Interior: Leather is in good shape with no cracking. Driver seat has some wear but may look better with steam clean. Dash pad is without cracks. Wood door cap on driver and passenger side has cracking. You can get these refinished for $150 per side. Remaining wood is in good shape. Headliner is good with no sagging. Overall very clean for age. Mechanical: Rides like a dream. Engine is silent with no leaks or abnormal noises. Transmission shifts flawlessly. Suspension is very comfortable without squeaks. I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere. Electrical: Every option works. Has new Kenwood CD player with bluetooth and USB. A/C and heat work 100%. Power windows work great. Seats work in every position. All lights work. I have some of the original books and maintenance records. Onto the pictures: Remember that bidding is a legally binding contract. I have it listed here with NO RESERVE. Book value has a wide range from $18000 to $42000. This car is a easy 7/10 and can be used as a daily driver or taken to shows. It can be a show winner with little work.
