1963 Studebaker Avanti R-1 in excellent condition, garaged. Solid hog troughs and frame. Brand new tires (WW inside), new fuel pump, water pump. New stainless steel exhaust that sounds great. Older repaint in original Avanti Red. Has several chips and a bubble in paint on hood (not rust, fiberglass!), some orange peel on sides that can probably be wet sanded and buffed out. Paint is very presentable, just trying to accurately describe. Chrome on bumpers is worn but not pitted. Has what may be the original spare in trunk. Interior and dash is very nice. Driver's seat was rebuilt and recovered. Rest of interior may be original. All gauges work except clock. No tears or rips is seats. Several small cigarette burns in passenger seat. Headliner is sagging a little, sun visors have several cracks. Engine runs great, trans shifts good, no smoke, engine chrome is nice. Power brakes and steering work well. This is a solid, original Avanti that can be an excellent driver The VIN # is 63R3611. Reserve is very reasonable. Clear Florida title. Available for inspection in Franklin, North Carolina.
