1972 Mercedes Benz 250c w114/8 coupe.This car being a us delivery car came equipped with the m130 2,778cc 157hp single over head cam six with twin zenith carbs.Backed by a 4 speed automatic trans.Factory A/C not connected but all there.There appears to be original paint on 80% of the car. There is some checking in some spots and spots on the hood where there is a small amount chips etc.The interior. is in very good condition.The only thing the car will need is the side window tracks replaced.The windows work but they out of alignment.I am a Mercedes Benz master tech 32 years; and was going to drive this car every day but my plans have changed.I went .Though the car to make a good driver here is what i did.Replaced upper and lower radiator hoses heater hoses alt water pump S/s belts front brake pads front rotors inner and outer tie rod ends adjusted valves rebuilt front and rear carburetors fuel tank replaced with nos tank fuel lines and fuel filter motor mounts.The front glass rear glass were removed and seals replaced with factor seals also trunk seal .The car has been correctly tuned up points spark plugs replaced cap and rotor ignition wires mercedes benz type.The ignition timing set as per mercedes specification.Vacuum advance connected and working .Carburetors adjusted the right way and synchronized chokes and fast idle set .The car now runs as it should .It has that mb feeling.The car will need some work but is a lot of fun had it out last night and it runs amazingly well.
