Vehicle Detail

ATTENTION! The BMW Z4 is being relisted due to winning bidder not paying. Please, read the full description, check with DMV office in your state and get shipping quotes prior to placing your bid! A $500.00 deposit is required within 12 hours, otherwise the item is being relisted and non paying winner will be reported to EBAY and will get negative feedback, thank you and good luck! This vehicle comes with florida sertificate of destruction which can not be used to register the car in my state, so the vehicle is being offered for sale to another state, country or for parts. this z4 starts right up (with jump, original bmw battery is dead), idles and drives around the lot just fine, and doesn't appear to have any mechanical damage, but there are some issues with electronic modules that prevent power roof from opening and cause a number of error messages on display. I will try my best to explain what's going on so that interested party could make their decision. The z4 was sold by insurance company as water damage vehicle, although it was classified as run/drive vehicle and after thorough inspection no trace of flood or water damage was found, at the same time i had the bmw specialty shop diagnose the electric issues and they established the following: the CAS (car access system) module, ECU and BCM in this car were replaced with wrong parts from 2009-2010 bmw z4 with automatic transmission which makes it impossible to program to the original DSC/ABS module. I was quoted around $4500 by the same shop to have all 3 modules ordered from bmw dealer and programmed but the fact of not being able to register vehicle in North Carolina stopped me from any further repairs. I also made a video of the car: www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_Sfbb75keY&t=3s On Jun-29-18 at 07:12:01 PDT, seller added the following information:
