Up for sale is my 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT. This is 1 of the 281 coupes produced in Competition Orange, a color only available in 2004. The car is a reliable driver with 119,228 miles, calculating to roughly 8,500 miles a year. The miles will continue to increase slowly as I do drive this car occasionally to the grocery store during the week. This is your chance to bid on a rare unmolested nearly-stock Competition Orange Cobra SVT "Terminator" with the renowned 4.6L DOHC Supercharged V8. The exterior of the car is in very good condition. The car recently received a full repaint at a reputable Ford dealership using PPG paint. The glass was removed, so there are no hard lines on the car. The front windshield was also replaced, as it cracked during the removal process. All four Bridgestone G-Force Comp 275/40ZR17 tires are still like new with approx 200 miles only. Amber tail lights are also installed on the car and wired to function. The amber tail lights are in very good condition, but I can obtain factory tail lights if the purchaser prefers the stock look. The suspension on the car is as it came from the factory and on stock ride height. Please this has the desirable factory stock OEM independent rear suspension system. Mechanically the car is sound. Drives well whether in the city streets or on the highway roads. The car does not leak any fluids, or burn oil. There is a smaller upper pulley installed and the car will include the SCT tuner. The car still maintains the stock catalytic converters, with Borla cat back exhaust system. There is also an adjustable clutch cable installed on the car, as well as aftermarket heat exchanger with fans (not wired). The interior does show some minor wear on the driver’s side bolster, which is common with these cars, but there are no rips or tears. The passenger, and back seats show little to no wear. The car has the dark charcoal inserts, which many prefer over the lighter inserts from factory. The steering wheel and shift knob both show wear, however acceptable with age. The a/c blows cold and the heat works on the car as well. The driver’s window motor will need to be replaced, as it has recently started to get stuck in the up position, another common issues with these cars. The power window motor itself will start working if tapped, but again this is a sign of it needing to be replaced. I recently installed a brand new battery. When I purchased this car in 11/2016 I drove it over 800 miles from Mississippi to Miami without any problems, and would still trust it to go anywhere. Do not let the miles scare you, these cars are harder and harder to come by, especially a clean and very close to stock example. There is no rust and the frame & body is straight and all solid. The minor mishap before was due to the previous owner having a front bumper incident with his wife's hitch receiver on their F150 back in 2012 which caused damage to the lower front bumper panel and heat exchanger and thus the driver-side airbag deployed. All necessary parts and components were subsequently replaced by the previous owner. On Jan 2018, the vehicle's side body panels were keyed in a parking lot and I filed an insurance claim. A full repaint was subsequently approved and as stated the high quality paint work was completed at a local Ford dealership. The FL vehicle TitIe is clean. also have recent maintenance service records documenting work performed including oil changes. This car is in great condition plus the top & bottom end of the engine including the factory supercharger are all-stock with no internal modifications. This is a rare "Terminator" Cobra for the new owner to drive/enjoy and continue to maintain. Overall I would estimate the condition of this car between a #3 and a #4 (very good) based on Hagerty's valuation.
