Vehicle Detail

This is an all out RACE CAR and is not street legal. It has a custom open exhaust system, no heater/defroster, no wipers, no headlights or turn signals. You would not ever go through what it would take to return this vehicle to street use. It also uses 110 octane leaded racing fuel. I have owned this 1996 Camaro Race Car for over 13 years. It has been a race car for about 21 years. The previous owner purchased the vehicle at an insurance salvage auction when it was nearly new and converted it to a Silver State Challenge Unlimited Class race car. It has a full roll cage, four wheel Wildwood Racing brake system, Ed Hansen built 409 cu in Small Block Chevy dry sump race engine with 703 dyno horsepower. The engine has only about 200 - 300 miles on it and still runs like the champion it is. I won the unlimited class at the Silver State events on several occasions and the top class at the Bonneville Twin 50's, the Elko Gambler's Twin 50's and the Pony Express 130 out of Battle Mountain, NV. My most recent event was at Mojave Airport last year where we were running acceleration runs of 1.625 miles, where this Camaro hit 200.4 mph through the traps. My personal top speed record for this vehicle is 216.9 mph. I have literally spent hours over 200 mph in this Camaro. It is very stable at high speed. During the time I have owned this vehicle, I have always replaced any failed parts with much stronger replacements. The T56 six speed transmission has Viper Racing internals that I was told would handle 1000 hp. The Dry Sump oil system uses a Nascar Spec Barnes dry sump pump and a Petersen dry sump tank, with a total system capacity of 21 quarts of oil. There are many subtle aerodynamic modifications that make this vehicle so stable at speed. I even had a rear tire blow out at over 200 mph and was able to finish the race on three tires and a wheel. (I got in trouble for that) For someone who has always wanted to drive a car over 200 mph, this is your most reasonable opportunity to do so. I have invested over $100,000 in this vehicle between what I paid for it and what I have done to improve it. The previous owner also put at least that much into this car. This vehicle has a salvage title from Nebraska. It will be sold on a Bill of Sale and I will give you the Nebraska Title. The mileage listed is not accurate, there is no speedometer (other than the GPS) and therefore no odometer. The vehicle had 21,000 miles on it when the salvage title was issued, but has probably had less than 4,000 miles total added to that and virtually every moving part has been replaced during the conversion to race vehicle and during upgrade improvements. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION - ONLY BID IF YOU INTEND TO BUY
