NO RESERVE AUCTION! FOR SALE TO HIGHEST BIDDER About the 50th Anniversary Edition Boxster: Click Here This is a 2004 Porsche Boxster 50th Anniversary edition with 109k miles on it. It is a 1 lady owned car and it was never raced and always taken care of. Unfortunately this car suffers from the IMS bearing failure. The engine still starts but makes a loud noise. As soon as she heard the noise she shut the motor off. The IMS bearing failed twice before and was replaced under factory warranty when the car was new and so when she heard the noise she shut it off right away as she knew what the sound ment.. The interior of the car is in excellent shape! No rips or tears anywhere. The carpet and seats are all nice and clean with no blemishes what so ever! The driver’s seat shows some wear. It is not ripped or torn it might just need to be redyed . The headliner is nice and clean. The car was never smoked in and has no weird odors inside. All the interior buttons and trim pieces are all there and everything work great. Everything on the inside is in original and great shape. The exterior of the car is in great shape! The paint is in excellent shape and looks like just rolled off the factory assembly line. The car was parked inside of a temperature controlled garage since it was brand new. All the glass, lights and mirrors are all crack free except the rear right taillight has a very small crack, you can’t see it unless you are 3ft in front of it. There are no major dings or dents anywhere. All the doors, hood and trunk all open and close perfectly. Overall the exterior is would say is in really great shape. Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape minus the IMS bearing failed engine. The car does not leak any fluids and the engine does not shake or vibrate. We drained the oil to see how much metal shavings came out and it was very minimal. You might be able to just put on the upgraded IMS bearing and see what happens. All 4 tires are matching look like in good shape. We just had the A/C serviced and it blows ice cold. This is an ideal car for LS or Subaru engine conversion. There are many articles online on people who have done this as these motors are known to fail. Overall the car is in great shape. The pictures depict on how well the car has been taken care of maintained all its life. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge.
