I acquired this Corvette on July 07, 2009. I have owned this vehicle for almost nine years and driven this vehicle regularly over that period of time. This is a good driver and handles excellent for a 45 year old vehicle. It has some cosmetic flaws and it has not been completely restored, but has been well cared for with new replacement parts on a regular basis. Over the past 9 years I have replaced the air compressor, replaced the convertible top, replaced the radio, replaced the carpet, and had the car repainted, amongst other things. This is the correct color combination for this vehicle. 1973 was the only year that the corvette was produced with a chrome rear bumper and a non chrome front bumper. All other year models before 73 were produced with chrome front and back and after 73 they were produced with non chrome front and back bumpers. The flaws that need to be noted include some paint clear coat peeling above the passenger headlight and a few fiberglass stress marks located around the vehicle. I have detailed pictures attached. Currently the heater blower motor and the windshield wipers are not operating properly. This car runs and drives appropriately and could be driven home if a buyer wanted to fly in and drive it home. It is not a powerhouse with the 350 motor and auto transmission, but it cruises as well as anyone could hope for with this powertrain combination.
