Up for your bidding consideration. Here we have a 1986 Suzuki GSXR 1100. This is a very clean example of one of Suzuki’s most iconic bikes. I purchased this bike last fall from a good friend of mine who bought it in 1987. I have known this bike since 1987 and have witnessed the care and maintenance that has been done to it throughout the years. I bought this for my wife to ride but unfortunately it was not comfortable enough for her. When I got it, I brought it to our local motorcycle mechanic and changed all of the fluids (i.e. clutch, brake, oil & filter), the carbs have been completely gone through as well. Included is a folder of many receipts from over the years. Also included is the stock exhaust (I do not have the stock air box), a spare seat from a 1987 (which is darker blue), the seat on the bike has had a little extra foam added to it from my buddy to try to make it more comfortable for long trips. So, if you want to replace the foam back to original, you can use the ’87 seat foam. Also, I have the solo seat cover. As with anything 32 years old, there are some minor chips and scratches and on the left side near the mirror, there is the usual walk-by-bump-the-mirror crack in the fairing, which is very small (I’ve tried to show everything in the pictures). Also, the very rear of the front fender, near the header, seems to have gotten melted from the heat of the pipe. The gas tank is very clean, no rust inside but if you look directly at the blue stripes, there seems to be cuts in the sticker (very minor, but I like to note anything that I see). I have many old Suzuki’s and have collected them for years. I consider this to be a very clean and well taken care of 3-owner bike. Any questions, feel free to email.
