This is a 1995 Buick Riviera. I purchased it in 2011, we loved these cars so my wife wanted one like mine. I found this one with low miles, the transmission was bad so as with our blue Riviera I took it to my friend who worked at AAMCO transmission and he went completely through it, see bill in picture #24. Car had 53,839 miles on it and now has 54,015 on it so transmission only has 176 miles on it and it works like new. The paint also was bad so I had it painted, not a cheap paint job but top quality. At this point my wife no longer wanted it so it stayed in my heated shop for about 6 year. I did start it occasionally but probably not as often as I should have although when I did start it, it would take right off. The gas is old but I put plenty of STA-BIL fuel stabilizer in the gas before I parked it. Car starts right up as I have been driving it around to take pictures and did drive it down the road a mile and back and it ran and shifted just fine. There are some things that still need attention on this car that I know of, back seat seat belts do not retract. Windshield wipers need to be replace. Air conditioner does not work and needs attention. Other than that as far as I know everything else works but keep in mind that we only drove this car less than 200 mile so there may be something that I don't know about. I have changed the oil and oil filter because of the years it sat in storage. I believe that this car is dependable enough to drive it any where in the US or Canada. If your looking for a car of this type I don't think you'll find one any cleaner for it age and miles. Please look at pictures carefully and determine value for yourself.
