1947 Dodge Deluxe 4 door sedan. This car does run and move under it's own power. There are no brakes on the car. Must be hauled to it's new home. The Dodge is very complete and in good shape overall. Does have rust on pass. door and drivers dog leg (pictured) and has scale rust on the undercarrige. Floors are in good shape. Drivers side floor has some patch work done sometime. Rear floors have a couple small dime size holes but overall solid. As does the trunk, scale/surface rust with a few dime size holes but 95% solid. Car does NOT have a gas tank. I have temporary boat tank in the trunk (pictured) to move it around. Again, there are no brakes or gas tank. Engine runs pretty smooth and doesn't smoke. Transmission (fluid drive) does move the car around. Shifts and goes forward and backward. Heater motor works, wipers work, radio lights up (yes there is one, not in picture but original radio is with the car), headlights work but other lights do not. Tires hold air but do leak, not correct size. Glass is good, windshield has a bit of 'fog' around edges. No broken or cracked glass. Windows roll up and down and vents open/close including cowl vent. Car has a couple small dents but nothing serious. Overall the body is in good shape. Car has 'patina' on roof and hood and the other paint does shine up a bit as you can see in pictures. Interior upholstery is not good. I have sheets over the seats but orig covers are underneath. They are not in good shape but seat structures are. Door panels are there but need redone. It does have an orig headliner but there is a 1'x2' piece missing above the driver. The rest is in decent shape and has only minor damage near the rear but is 85% there. She needs work but is a great car with lots of character. Car is 6 volt running system and has new battery. This Dodge would be a great project car for someone looking to get into the hobby. It runs, moves and with work could be road worthy with minimal cost. Car has potential and is worth saving. I purchased in January, suffered a death in the family and I must move it to someone else, I have lost interest. The car must be hauled, it is not able to be driven on the road, there are no warranties with the car. I'm offering this car at NO RESERVE. Please email questions through ebay.
