A clean example of the highly sought after VW campervan. Convenient size at 17ft long, fuel efficient with average of 20MPG, and capable of maintaining highway speeds with comfort. The original owners took great care of the vehicle with a garage built specifically for the van and reluctantly sold the van in their 90’s. I am the second owner of this Eurovan – Original Owners moved title from their name, then into a trust, and then to me. I purchased in 2017 and started to upgrade and maintain with intent to keep forever. Selling as we simply need a larger RV for our family of 5. 1995 VW Eurovan Camper, 167,000 mi. 2.5L 5 cylinder, automatic transmission. Seating for 4 Pop-up roof raises to create up to 7' of floor-to-ceilng space. Original Eurovan Awning Rear Hatch Extension Tent Sleeps 4 with pop-top (74"x 43") Bed for two in the pop-up roof. LP tank 12 gal. fresh water tank 8 gal. gray water tank 21 gal. gasoline tank Deep cycle coach battery On-board fire extinguisher Aftermarket CD Player with USB connectivity Upgraded Wheels from 2003 VW camper Good tires with approximately 60% tread Functional cold AC New timing belt, water pump, and full tune up with new plugs Clean Title Condition: Exterior: The exterior is white paint which maintains a bright shine and is in good condition. The body has been repainted while under the care of the original owner. The body does have normal wear with small dings here and there over the 23 years or age. The most notable blemish is a scratch that is located near the fuel panel – please see picture for detail. Other minor dings are in rear hatch and front lower bib. The body has one chip in the paint near the rear wheel well where you can see a surface rust (size of a quarter) associated with the chip. The pop top is in excellent condition, no cracks. The pop top fabric is in good condition. The is one small tear in one of the tent screen windows that could be patched. Approximately 2in X 2in The roof storage area is in good condition with original metal bars for securing straps. The frame is in good condition – see pictures. Appears to have original undercoating. The rear plastic bumper end caps both have cracks in the plastic. Replacements are approximately $80 a piece. Interior: The interior is in excellent original condition. Seats and carpet are in very good condition. Pop top interior is in excellent condition with no tears. New locking struts installed on pop-top. Rear seat folds exactly as it should with cushions in excellent condition. All cabinets are in clean original condition Sink and stove burners work and are in good condition. New struts installed on lift hood. Refrigerator works well. Interior has some rust spots – see picture. Does not impact function. All interior camper lights are functional. Folding tables are in great condition. The original owner travelled with his wife and took extra care to maintain. Mechanical: After I purchased, I took to a VW Specialist and asked to go through the vehicle mechanically. The recommended new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, full tune up, and replacement of motor mount. All of these items, approximately $2K, have been replaced in 2017 & 2018. The original owner was not able to locate the folder with service records when selling. Wish List: If I keep this van I would do the following: Upgrade Headlights to LED – Original Lights are not bright. Upgrade lighting in interior dash – Again just not bright. Rear bumper end caps. Road trip from East to West Coast J Other than that I am not aware of anything this van needs.
