Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Ultimate Edition. First $9000 takes the car home.I'm just the 2nd owner and this has been a *fantastic* car. You will not find a cleaner or more mechanically sound Grand Marquis or Crown Victoria for sale. I've made a number of upgrades in the two years I've owned it which I'll detail below.I bought the car in August, 2016 with just 14,789 miles on the odometer. Yes, the car was 6 years old and had traveled fewer than 2500 miles per year. The previous owner had passed away, and I found the car at the Nissan dealership in Gastonia. I had looked far and wide for this exact car, and it replaced an older Grand Marquis that had also been an excellent car. As of today, the car has travelled approximately 44,000 miles and is in truly excellent condition. I used the car for business (real estate) and the occasional road trip. One such trip to Little Rock, AR netted my best fuel economy of 26.74 MPG. It averages 19.81 MPG in mixed use, and I have detailed records of every fill-up since I purchased the car. Here are a few features and upgrades:- Ford Mustang 18" alloy wheels- Goodyear Eagle tires with 50%+ life left- New Pioneer DEH-X6800BT Stereo w/ hands-free telephone calls and bluetooth music streaming from Pandora/Amazon/etc.- New Dual-Stage Hi/Lo seat heaters professionally installed (very toasty)- Windows professionally tinted to NC limit- Car computer to monitor all major systems- Electrically adjustable pedals (for shorter drivers)- Antilock brakes (ABS)- Tire pressure monitor system (TPMS)- Dual power seats with adjustable lumbar support- Rubber mats over original carpet for protection (carpet is basically new)- Power *everything*I handle my own tire rotations and oil changes. Oil and filter have been changed every 5K miles without fail. I use full synthetic oil with a Motorcraft/Ford filter. There are NO oil leaks. The air conditioning will blow you out of the car.To be clear, this is an extremely reliable and comfortable car. I wouldn't hesitate to let my daughter drive it to California and back... five times in a row. It's easily good for another 200K+ miles with basic maintenance. The ONLY reason I'm selling it is because I've just bought a pickup truck for business and won't be putting many miles on the car. It just doesn't seem right to let it sit. Here's what other owners have to say about this car - https://www.edmunds.com/mercury/grand-marquis/2010/consumer-reviews/pg-1/?sorting=CONFIDENCEFeel free to let me know if you have any questions.
