1979 VW CAMPER BUS --NO RESERVE-- Very original conditionRuns and drives very wellOriginal factory camper interiorHas a stove, fridge and sink, a movable table, fresh water holding and propane tanks etc.Lots of storage Has both a lower bed and upper bed that fold/slide out and are very comfortable, each the size of a full twin and can sleep 4 (cozily) BUS IS IN PORTLAND OREGON You cant find these everyday anymoreThis bus is very original I had some work done on the starter recently Bus had been sitting idle for a while although I am not driving it everyday, I have been taking it for drives occasionally since starter was repairedEngine starts, runs and idles well with no smoke or out of ordinary noisesIt does not leak or use oilHas 4 matching, almost new tiresThe paint wastouched up in the rear corner but im not sure why. There are no signs of a dent or rust or putty repair. In fact the bus has no rust holes or surface rust other than minor surface rust around one of the windows I believe bus is ready for the open road and I personlly would not hesitate to take it across the country although I am not offering any type of warranty or guarentee.If you have owned an old VW before you know the drill... periodic maintenance and periodic annoying problems. If your reading this and considering buying, you likely Love them anyway as I and many otherVdub type people do.The drivers door interior panel is missingTheres a bit of a birds nest of wiring under the dash where the original AC unit was removed (unit is included with bus)There are other signs of wear but overall a very functional and complete camper busSo it will need minor attention here and there and is not perfect but still has many happy miles to go. I have been around VW s for many years and have owned several. I know enough to say that the engine, trans and clutch are very sound and goes straight down the road and drives like it should.
