Contact | Website | Ebay Feedback This is a very cool California original "Hawaiian Blue" 1975 GMC Vandura "shorty" Cosmetically the van is honest and as original as they come. The paint appears to be largely original with a tremendous amount of appeal and patina. All of the metal is healthy without any rotting, or corrosion/rust. There is plenty of surface discoloration and various imperfections. But overall this body is outstanding! Some visible damage/dents to drivers fender/sliding door The entire undercarriage is dry and solid. The structural points and integrity of this van are A+. The engine runs clean and sounds great! There are no noticeable leaks, zero smoke and it does not overheat. -Good original chrome with some dings, bends, etc. Very attractive/totally presentable and functional.-Rockers, fender wells and drips rails are all 100% solid and in excellent shape! The 3 speed manual transmission shifts properly through all the gears. The clutch feels goodThe van steers and drives nicely down the road. The suspension feels good. However with any un-restored original vehicle everything should be gone through to make it a perfectly reliable everyday driver, or completely restore it. This is an original vehicle so if you want a perfect running and driving van that you can just jump in and drive cross country do not buy this one. This is a running project and if you want to pick it apart you will probably find that everything will need some attention. The heating system is in-op and the brakes will need attention. Odometer and gauges/cluster need service. Tires all have good tread remaining....not sure of the age, we recommend replacement The overall appearance of this "shorty" van gets high marks for having a tremendous amount of character and patina. This is a really cool original California "Surfer van", we are certain the new owner will love it! The odometer currently reads 13,259 however the true miles are unknown. -Nicely reupholstered seats.
