Reluctantly offered for sale is a 1945 Chevrolet 1/2-ton pickup. Original 6-volt, 216 c.i. engine. Wyoming, Montana, and Western Colorado truck, so as rust-free as you are likely to find. Great patina, always starts, runs and drives well.About 2-years ago I bought it on eBay from an individual from Montana who represented it as being a daily driver. I paid $7,500 for it. Long story short, I have receipts for more than $6,400 in repairs during the last year. It is (now) fun to drive, and gets plenty of attention. I have driven it 50 mph, but it is much happier at 35-40. The speedometer doesn't work, but the other gauges all seem to. The crank out windshield needs repair, but all of the glass is present and in good shape. The lights and horn work & much of the wiring has been redone. New 6-volt battery. I am located in Telluride, CO. The truck is stored in Norwood, CO., a small farming community about 33 miles from Telluride at an elevation of 7,011ft.Colorado title in my name in hand.Thanks for looking. I have never attempted to use the system. The feature was described as follows when I bought the truck 2-years ago: "The truck has a dump system installed on the pickup bed with a hydraulic reservoir and hydraulic cylinder installed under the bed so it would be great for small landscaping jobs or gravel jobs ect. Currently when you pump the lever on the hydraulic tank the bed acts like it wants to lift up but will only rise about 3-4 inches. We think its just getting hung up or needs an adjustment / fluid ect. Probably an easy fix."
