You are bidding on a 1970 Ford Mustang Sportsroof. It has recently been refinished in its original Grabber Green paint scheme as it came from the factory with the Grabber Value Package. The engine was upgraded from its tired old 302 2V to a mildly built 351 Cleveland 4V. The engine received a full rebuild from Woody's Automotive in Thornton In. and included a set of .030 over flat top pistons, an Erson cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley carb, and top it all off with an rumbling custom Flowmaster exhaust. The car has no rust, paint shines very nicely, runs, drives, and functions mechanically like it should. We added a few exterior items to give it a bit of attitude including a new set of original style rear window louvers, front and rear spoilers, blacked out tail light panel, an original fog light grill, and a non-functional hood scoop. All of the wear parts in the front suspension were replaced and car aligned great. The car retains its original C4 transmission, and 8 inch rear end. It has manual drum brakes but does have power steering. All new interior except door panels and arm rests which are very nice originals. Underside is very nice, a one piece floor pan was installed, seam sealed, and painted as original in slop gray. New rear leaf springs, shackle kits, front and rear shocks. Tires are in very good shape. Wheels are a set of original Magnum 500 and have some flaking but still look very nice. The trim is mostly original and in good shape for the year. Wheel lip moldings were added and are new. The car has about 1000 miles on since its completion this winter. It will be serviced and ready to go for the new owner. It gets a ton of attention everywhere I drive it. It does not have a working radio and the fog lights are not wired. It runs and drives very well, it has plenty of power, and presents itself well enough to compete at any local car show. Please look through the pictures and ask any questions needed.
