1972 Ford F100 Pickup Truck The truck has been my everyday driver for about 2 years and has taken many long drives with ease. Over the past few years, the truck has had many improvements which have made it a very dependable and comfortable vehicle. Improvements include: 5.0 HO Engine from 1995 Lincoln LSC with fewer than 10,000 miles when installed. Engine was converted to carburetor for simplicity and runs perfectly. 4 Speed Automatic overdrive from same 1995 Lincoln. Shifts Beautifully. Rear end gearing changed to 3.5 ratio due to overdrive and will do 80 MPH all day long at an idle with plenty of power in the lower gears Tires only have about 10,000 miles and still look newUniversal joints replaced All 4 wheel cylinders and brake shoes replacedAll new front end bushings, tie rod endings and springsNew master cylinder and brake booster installedNew 500 CFM Edelbrock carburetor with electric fuel pumpBrand new true duel exhaust with glass packs, sounds greatNew instrument panel (Speedometer re-geared to indicate accurately due to rear end ratio change)Gauge cluster installed 1966 Ford F100 Steering wheel modified to fit with functional hornNew steering rag jointHeadliner and carpet replacedDriver and passenger window seals and door seals replaced Modern car radio with classic look AM/FM/AUX and 3 new Kenwood speakers. Sounds great.Very solid truck. Has been garage kept. Cons: Previous owner removed fuel tank to the bed of the truck behind cab, fuel gauge no longer works. (This was next on my to-do list.)Paint job is beginning to show it's age with some chips due to pebbles, some rust beginning in some areas. I have tried to indicate any rust in the pictures. Previous owner changed side view mirrors and left mounting holes in the door. Also indicated in photos. Seatbelts are not installed in truck but are included in saleTruck came with factory air but is not currently working. Would need condenser and compressor. New evaporator included with sale but not installed.Could use some cosmetic TLC under the hood All around a great dependable and sturdy truck. Can be used as a daily driver, on long road trips, or cleaned up for a show truck. I really hate to sell the truck and know one day I will regret it but I have too many projects...and too many kids.
